"We really liked how you could begin in one part of the country and chose were you end up. The kids who acted on the show did a great job. There jokes were perfect for a 6-8 year old to get. We enjoyed the places that they went to also on the program."

"My children definitely want to visit many of the places on the video. They absolutely love the segment on the Vermont Teddy Bears and they also think that Space Camp in Alabama is somewhere we need to go. This video does a great job giving you a quick overview of some great destination for travelling with kids."

"My kids definitely like Emily and Alex. My son likes to pretend that he is Alex and takes his younger brothers on adventures. They are both silly without being goofy and they seem like they are enjoying the trips."

"It is nice that they appear to be adolescents who slightly younger kids can appreciate. The hosts are down to earth and genuine, which I like as a mother."

National Parenting Center
This excellent DVD provides kids and parents with an entertaining and educational glimpse at the United States. Utilizing a good mix of silliness with facts, presented by charming hosts, it was easy to stay focused and engaged throughout. As the viewer you can choose where you want to go and which path you want to take. From making a wooden boat in Maine to strolling the boardwalk in Atlantic City the video always ties back to the theme. There are quizzes along the way which was a great technique for keeping kids focused on the show. The information is very accurate and up-to-date, a tribute to the producers.

Dove Foundation
“TripFlix” is fantastic from start to finish! Divided into sections (East, Midwest etc.), this DVD takes you on a coast to coast tour of the United States while uncovering many unknown places and facts. The hosts, Alex and Emily are energetic teens who are perfect for the job and downright hilarious at times. The DVD is interactive and the viewer must answer multiple trivia questions via the remote control as well as choose which part of the country to visit.

Other than a couple of staged “gunfights”, one OMG, and Alex and Emily drinking Sarsaparillas in what look like beer bottles, “TripFlix” is refreshingly clean. “TripFlix” is not only good for a fact-filled family watch, but would also be a wonderful addition to any classroom. Exceptionally educational and entertaining at the same time, Dove eagerly awards the Dove "Family-Approved" Seal to “TripFlix”.

"Key (iParenting) winners include: TripFLIX, an interactive DVD that generates a custom adventure based on the users selections"

The Wall Street Journal

"A great family vacation itinerary should involve the whole family, says Fast, a 20-year-old theater major at NYU's Tisch School, "not something just Dad or just Mom really wants to see."

Fast and Woodhouse have gawked at automotive sculptures at Nebraska's Carhenge, roped cattle in Montana and learned the finer points of wooden boat building in Maine, thanks to a travel and filming schedule that took them from coast to coast. And truth is, theme parks get old.

"Disney World is fun," says Woodhouse, who just finished freshman year at Catholic University, "but it can only last for so long."

The whole point of travel for teens, they say, is discovering something new."

Oakland Tribune

"Choose worthwhile DVDs, such as TripFLIX, an interactive DVD for kids 6 to 12 that features 25 kid-friendly places to visit in the United States. "

Cleveland Plain Dealer

"Young TripFLIX viewers can visit every destination on the DVD, or they can pick and choose regions of the country. Interactive trivia questions are interspersed throughout. A Special Features section offers bloopers and a segment in which Alex and Emily teach their viewers dance moves for the "TripFLIX Cha-Cha-Cha."

The dialogue is educational but off-the-wall enough to hold a kid's attention. There's a fake gristmill explosion. Alex's face gets carved into Mount Rushmore. And a lawn mower runs directly over a teddy bear, spewing stuffing far and wide, then the bear is repaired at the Vermont Teddy Bear Factory hospital. As the narrator says, "For even the cutest teddy bear, tragedy can strike at any moment."

The Business Monthly

"The videos are fast moving and interesting, and make every effort to show the inner workings of each place, with little known facts and interactive trivia games. This is the kind of DVD you could play on your portable DVD system in your mini-van, tailored to your family's interest on the way to a vacation destination."

Children's Technology Review March 2008 Editors' Choice

"I can see my younger self laughing at the jokes and wacky situations. The hosts are bouncy and cheerful and they work with what they're given. The material is presented in a fun way and they even have the random pop quizzes laced with trivia that's either fun (They used to make celery flavored jello) or just educational (The state capital of North Dakota is not Fargo)."
