Visit the National Gallery of Art's sculpture garden a graet spot for the kids to run off energy while on the Mall.
The National Zoo is a must see! My kids always loved the National Postal Muesum near Union Station. Don't miss the International Spy Museum on F Street. A winner especially for older kids!
